Cirava Vocational School is known not only in Cirava pagasts and
in region of Liepaja but also in the
whole Kurzeme.
School started to form in 1953 when Ventspils Mechanization of
Agriculture School was moved in
Cirava village. The name of school
and teaching trades were changed during years. Now there are
300
young people at our school. They are learning in such educational
syllabus: Production the
Articles Made of Wood - carpenter, worker,
who works with wood materials
- Catering Service - cook
- Motor Transport - motor engineer
- Book –keeper
The pupils of Cirava Vocational School has taken part in
competitions which were organized between
teaching institutions of
Ministry. They have got good resuts there. They are the repeated
winners of
these competitions.
There are many folk traditions and customs at school. Each year
pupils and their teachers of Cirava
Vocational School organize such
out –of –school activities:

- Festival of Autumn’s Flowers and Festival of Crop

- Teachers’ Day
- Martin’s Day

- Christmas
- Valentine’s Day
- Easter
- Cooks' Days
As soon as Latvia became the participant country of EU, school
started to take part in developing of
EU projects. Since 2003/ 2004
school year we have taken part in activities of programme „Socrates.”
In the last year we took part in projects of EU Social and Regional
funds.
Cirava Vocational School offers cooperation in forming and
realization of educational and cognition
activities for interesents.
